GMR Varalakshmi Centre for Empowerment & Livelihoods (GMRVCEL) – Nagaram

GMR Varalakshmi Foundation started a vocational training Centre in Nagaram village, Konaraopet Mandal in one of the most backward parts of Karimnagar District in Telangana State in September 2017. This Centre was established in partnership with two other organizations namely Jeeyar Educational Trust and Prathima Foundation.

The Centre has been set up in the building provided by Jeeyar Foundation after it got renovated by GMR Varalakshmi Foundation to suit the training center requirements.

Highlights

All the courses offered at this center are residential.

Trainings apart from regular Entrepreneurship Development Programs are conducted.

So far, the institute has trained 174 candidates of whom 156 are placed.

The centre is implementing DDUGKY programme under MoRD.
